Fila USA names new golf sales chief
Fila USA Inc., has announced the appointment of Peter Holmberg to its golf and corporate division as national sales manager in the athletic shoe and apparel company. Holmberg, a veteran of the golf apparel industry, has the experience of serving previously for nine years as executive vice president of sales for California-based Ashworth Inc. Before Ashworth, Holmberg has served in various sales positions with Seattle-based apparel manufacturer Cutter & Buck. Holmberg will now be responsible for increasing Fila's golf apparel distribution and recruiting new employees to its sales force.

FastSoft hires Beard as Director of Sales
Monrovia-based FastSoft, developer of Internet data transfer acceleration products, has appointed Mike Beard as director of sales. Beard has been district sales director at Netli, later acquired by Akami. He has also served at various sales and sales management positions at Interwoven, SAP, InterWorld and HP. Beard holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Richmond. FastSoft's Aria product line helps with the decrease in the file transfer wait time for clients, employees, partners, and suppliers with a single-box tool with no other hardware and software on the receiving end.

Vaughan joins CIGNA Group Insurance's sales leadership team
CIGNA Group Insurance has announced the appointment of Ken Vaughan as vice president for national account sales. Vaughan has an experience of 16 years in employee benefits sales, and prior to his new position, he has served The Hartford responsible for the New York region. Vaughan will now be taking care of the overall national account sales strategy, both for new business and renewals for CIGNA Group Insurance. Life Insurance Company of North America and other CIGNA companies market CIGNA Group Insurance products and services.
