Other duties include creating relationships with customers in assigned territories through telephone and personal visits, increasing sale of products and services to the educational sector, completing appropriate paperwork, making profitable recommendations regarding packaging and pricing and providing technical and administrative product knowledge to customers.
The minimum qualification required for an educational sales job is a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college. Preference is given to candidates with inside or outside sales experience. Other requirements of the job are strong communication, negotiation, project management and time management skills.
