Market Development Manager

Profile

The Market Development Manager is responsible for the development of custom advertiser solutions, including packaging, training and custom pitches. This person will work with numerous business partners and creative resources to conceive produce and execute robust best in class sales programs.  This position is located in New York, NY.
 
Responsibilities:
 

Serve as the lead business owner working with the East Coast sales team.
Developing pitch materials for leading online properties and responses to advertiser requests.
Educate and train the sales organization on new ad opportunities, site features and functionality
Develop pro-active sales programs, collateral and site communications for advertiser outreach.

 
Requirements:
 

A minimum of 4 years of advertising, sales and/or marketing experience in an agency or media environment.
Strong PowerPoint skills and Photoshop is a plus.
Experience developing online marketing or sales programs.
A passion for ideas and the ability to drive creativity into well-executed programs.
Understanding of social media, internet, mobile and passion for emerging media formats
The ability to work collaboratively across a large, matrixed organization to drive results.
Analytical skills and the ability to drive programs toward business goals.
Strong speaking skills and the ability to showcase marketing programs via presentations.
