Located in New York
Cracked.com, is looking for a passionate and experienced Account Executive to sell native custom content packages. Working in tandem with the General Manager and Senior Manager of Business Operations, this driven individual will have the power of the critically acclaimed Cracked.com editorial team behind them to deliver smart, out-of the-box solutions for leading advertisers.
This individual will be responsible for growing all brand direct and agency sales through custom packages and programs. We’re looking for someone eager to hit the ground running with a long list of contacts and proven track record of bringing new sponsorship and partnership opportunities to qualifying advertisers. This is a chance to create, champion and close large deals on a site with a huge, engaged audience and best in class content.
Responsibilities:
Work side-by-side with the Cracked.com team to craft compelling packages and sales opportunities.
Relentlessly pitch Cracked.com to appropriate advertisers in Entertainment, Alcohol, CPG and other verticals.
Establish and cultivate strong relationships by conducting a minimum of 5 face-to-face sales calls and client meetings with VP/Director level contacts weekly.
Regularly procure and create response packages for agency and brand direct RFP’s.
Proactively create advertising sales strategies, proposals, and presentations for core and new accounts.
Coordinate with editorial and product teams to ensure sponsored programs meet client expectations.
Own client relationship throughout campaigns, monitoring programs to ensure delivery.
Analyze and effectively communicate client program results
Contribute to internal product development planning to help optimize ad and sponsorship placements and opportunities across site and apps.
Qualifications:
3 years of experience managing internet advertising accounts.
Experience selling custom content to major brands with a large publisher.
Strong understanding of Internet advertising a must (account set up, inventory and tag management, click reconciliation, etc.)
Strong presentation and closing skills based on field experience with major accounts
Demonstrated ability to craft and tell a compelling story around passion points
Strong analytical skills, proficiency with Excel and experience with CRM systems (Saleforce.com)
