Staffing Sales Executive
New York, NY
As a staffing sales professional, you will be responsible for networking for the purpose of opening new business, as well as developing an account management plan, developing and nurturing new sales leads as well as fostering existing client relationships.
OBJECTIVE:
• Develop and maintain client relationships through networking, sales and marketing calls.
• Add $3-$10m/yr in consultant billing and bring prestigious accounts into CMP
• Increase market share in existing clients and maximize new business development opportunities, achieving targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth.
• Exceed customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop new and existing client relationships in the Greater NYC Area, as well as IL, CA, VA and Nationwide
• Procure 5-10 new consulting reqs/week for Developers, Creative, Managers
• Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
• Seek out and target new customers and new sales opportunities and initiate action plan to approach and secure new business for the Company.
• Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
• Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful marketing campaigns & programs.
• Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses.
• Exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes.
• Maintains accurate records of all activity reports.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• 3 years of successful sales experience in the IT industry.
• Proven history of success in sales.
• Experience with IT Staffing sales and/or software solutions sales is desirable.
• Strong prospecting and business development skills.
• Excellent sales, negotiation and “people” skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills & be able to implement solutions with moderate guidance.
• The role also requires that you have the ability to learn new tasks quickly, are excellent at multi-tasking, have excellent communication and writing skills, and have a pleasant and professional demeanor.
• You must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions, be a team player, and be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good business sense.
• Initiative, drive and enthusiasm.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills, the ability to prioritize work assignments.
• Knowledgeable in every step of the sales cycle: Prospect, Contact, Negotiation, Close and Follow-up.
