Software Sales Jobs
A software sales executive's primary job is selling a wide range of software to retail, individual, or/and corporate clients. A software sales executive must be updated regarding the latest technology that are needed by clients and what alternative a company can provide if the required product in not available with the company. A software sales executive must be familiar with complex selling and solution selling technique. Besides maintaining good relations with the sales department, a software sales executive should maintain good relations with software R&D department.
A bachelor's degree in computer applications or a bachelor's degree from a science background is mostly required. Working experience of at least three years and managing the sales cycle in environment such as manufacturing, food, electronics, motor vehicles, durables or consumer packages goods is an advantage for software sales executive posts. Good command over oral communication and interpersonal skills is mandatory for such posts. A software sales executive should be prepared for intense traveling within the state and national level.
