Sales Manager Jobs
A sales manager will organize motivate and lead sales teams in a wide range of sectors including pharmaceuticals, FMCG, and finance. A sales manager will be responsible for the combined performance of the team and for ensuring that everyone within the team reaches their targets. A sales manager will have to set targets themselves or they can receive from sales director. A sales manager would be given authority to operate and implement incentive schemes to motivate members of their team to reach or exceed sales targets. A sales manger will be particularly look after recruiting and training sales staff, supervising, motivating and monitoring team performance. A sales manager will also take responsibility for allocating areas to sales executives setting their budget/targets liaising with other line managers, reporting back to senior managers and maintaining detailed knowledge of the company’s product or services.
A graduate from any stream having good leadership skills, out spoken, extrovert, who likes traveling would be the right person for the post of sales manager. A diploma in sales may also help. Good written and verbal communication skills, effective presentation skills, and good in one-on-one basis discussion is must for the post of sales manager.
