Sales Analyst Jobs
A sales analyst is a person who works to track the sales of a company to ensure correct accounting and to increase profits. The primary responsibility of a sales analyst is to work with the sales department to help support sales through the development of various sales analyses and reports.
Other duties of a sales analyst include preparing analysis for specific business areas, developing standard metrics and performance indicators, analyzing sales data and issuing sales reports. Additionally, a sales analyst may also be required to report on trends, develop training materials and create documentation and user manuals for business processes. It is the duty of a sales analyst to work closely and liaison with all departments, particularly the sales team, to help increase business and profitability.
To apply for a sales analyst job, a candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or similar fields. Strong mathematical and analytical skills are also important. A successful candidate must also exhibit effective communication, presentation and computer skills.
