Beverage Sales Jobs
Beverage sales jobs are available with soft drink manufacturers, wine companies, beverage packaging units etc. A beverage sales job holder develops and implements an overall marketing and sales plan to manage and improve beverage sales.
The primary responsibility of the job is to achieve company objectives and targets through successful management of distributors, accounts and chain buyers. The job involves promotion and selling to existing customer base as well as developing new business by introducing new and existing products to hotels, restaurants and supermarkets. Other important duties include increasing distribution and brand awareness, conducting tasting events, executing state promotion campaigns and chain-level promotions, nurturing strong relationships with distributors and accounts and working with promotional staff at all events.
To apply for a beverage sales job, a bachelor’s degree in marketing or similar fields is preferred. Previous sales experience in the food/beverage industry is preferred. A successful candidate is self motivated and outgoing and exhibits good negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
