Medical Sales Jobs description
Medical sales involves selling products, such as medications, syringes, and medical equipment, that are widely used in hospitals and dispensaries. A medical salesperson builds contacts with local medical practitioners and hospital authorities and increases business for his or her company. Job titles such as medical sales account executive and medical sales representative fall under the umbrella of medical sales jobs, as do more specific jobs like licensed hearing aid dispenser salesperson and urology sales professional.As the medical salesperson needs to interact with physicians and other medical professionals, companies require a minimum of a high school diploma as well as relevant experience. Good communication skills and the ability to persuade are highly important. Having contacts at a local medical center or medical school is always a plus. Medical sales jobs can be found in various subfields, including imaging, pathology, laboratory, and orthopedics, among others.
