Sales Associate Jobs description
The primary task of a sales associate is to sell a company’s products or services. A sales associate provides internal and external sales support to customers and fellow associates while contributing to sales growth.Providing customers with a positive sales and service experience while meeting sales quotas and sales objectives also falls under the purview of a sales associate job. A sales associate may also be called upon to assist with the daily operational functions of the department, for example, he/she may be given cash handling responsibilities. Other duties include handling customer problems and complaints and assisting with administrative tasks.
To apply for a sales associate job, the minimum qualification required is a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institute. Prior sales experience is a plus. A successful sales associate has an outgoing personality, is a team player and is detail oriented. Other desirable qualities are good communication and organizational skills.
