Sales Engineer Jobs description
A sales engineer is a person involved in sales with an engineering or technical education. Sales engineers generally are recruited by companies manufacturing electronic devices or machines. The job titles of sales engineers typically indicate the areas in which they work. For example, there are jobs for software sales engineers, technical sales engineers, applications sales engineers, connector sales engineers, and so on and so forth.To obtain a sales engineer job, one primarily needs to have a bachelor's degree in engineering as well as relevant sales experience. Sales engineers must understand the needs of their prospects and suggest appropriate products to meet those needs. At times sales engineers also take care of post-sale support. Bilingual skills are highly preferred in sales engineers as a lot of traveling is involved in most sales engineer jobs. Sales engineers also need to have complete knowledge of their products so that they can satisfactorily answer prospects' questions.
