The Director, National Sales is responsible for leading and growing the direct to employer book of business through consultative sales on behalf of our CHI markets; aligning National and Regional/Division objectives. This role will work closely with CHI market leadership to design innovative solutions for mid-long term market implementation, facilitating enterprise strategic product initiatives with rapid prototyping discipline and ensuring coordination with other functional and strategic requirements. This position will lead and direct functional operations including sales, account management, partner and relationship management, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities
Grows CHI’s direct to employer revenue on behalf of all CHI markets year over year.
Travels (weekly or as needed) to all CHI priority markets and works directly with CHI market leadership to identify market/region needs/ priorities and to propose innovative solutions for market disruption.
Supports product design, build and implementation of CHI’s health and wellness business solutions products for high priority revenue initiatives.
Designs configuration for market business solutions with commitment to triple aim: quality, cost and customer experience.
Partners with CHI organizations for business solution collaboration/development (CIN, CM, Strategy, VHS, CHS, etc.)
Manages and leads, either directly or dotted line, local sales and account management.
Develops products with partner collaboration for D2E, Exchanges and payer/partner business solutions.
Adheres to established internal controls, regulatory and fiduciary policies.
Leads initiatives and/or special projects at the direction of the Vice President, Business Solutions.','!*!Job Requirements/Qualifications
Education / Accreditation / Licensure (required and preferred)
Bachelor degree required; Masters degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field is preferred
Experience (required and preferred)
15-20 years of managerial and strategic leadership across a multi-disciplined team
15 years demonstrated success in national/regional B2B consultative sales, preferably in healthcare and/or technology with proven demonstrable revenue growth year over year
10 years experience in problem-solving for complex and multi-disciplinary capabilities at the market, regional and national level
10 years of product development, preferred
Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix-oriented organization
Demonstrated ability to effectively drive strategic transformation work
