The Construction Equipment Sales Representative is responsible for promoting parts, service, rentals and aftermarket accessories such as extended warranties, tires and tracks on all equipment. This role can be based in Omaha or Lincoln, NE or Altoona, IA. The territory covers North and South Dakota, Nebraska and Iowa.

Job Duties

· The primary duties of this position will be to actively promote sales and service in the assigned territory

· Sell equipment, parts, service work, service contracts, warranties, aftermarket accessories and supplies

· Secure orders from new customers for rental equipment sales and service contracts

· Actively identify and develop new customer contacts to expand market share

· Assist customers in solving problems and provide technical support

· Act as a liaison between the customer and company as needed to ensure that the customer needs are adequately met

Desired Skills and Qualities

· Exceptional interpersonal, leadership and communication skills

· A self-starter who can identify the strengths presents in a location and utilize those strengths to develop a positive business plan

· Proven background in sales

· Clear driving record

· Available for overnight travel

Position Requirements

· High School diploma required. College degree is desired but not required.

· 3 years successful experience in outside sales with construction and/or heavy equipment
