Unit Description
Sodexo is seeking a dynamic Vice President, Strategic Account Development to lead a team that will support client retention and business development for Campus Services - North America.

Reporting to the SVP Partnership Strategies & Solutions, this role will drive sustainable/profitable growth and retention by ensuring execution of solutioning and account-level strategic growth best practices; direct responsibility for solutioning and growth plans for key top revenue ($15M ) and complex accounts; facilitate development support teams to create a client/consumer-centric growth mindset focused on continuous innovation and program advancement; and lead an internal consulting group that will elevate the strategic planning process to an advanced consultative approach

This is a Remote leadership role with up to 20% travel
Candidates can reside in any state within proximity to a major airport!
 
The ideal candidate will:

Oversee a team of 7 Directors of Strategic Account Development
Identify and develop a holistic strategy through planning process for top tier accounts ($15M in annual managed volume)
Lead business planning processes for top accounts
Bring innovation to accounts to drive growth and share of wallet
Utilize unique insight and data gathering practices to impact strategies for growth
Identify Key activities, milestones, and recovery activities based on needs
Lead follow-up to track impact through KPIs 
Lead team to drive 3-year planning process for Large to mid-size accounts
Build and implement strategy by territory to drive continuous growth and program evolution
Track and leverage KPIs to determine best practices and influence strategic plans
Identify and implement best in class insight and data gathering and client communication
Act as Thought Leader and SME Industry leader
Bring best-in-class ideas and trends on meal plans, brands, space utilization, resident dining program analysis and approach, and organic growth
Lead the development of Client facing documents in area of expertise to engage, educate and expand business opportunities 
Advise on expanded business opportunities; collaborate on cross sale initiatives in conjunction with new sales associate and operational leadership; proactively investigates business opportunities to expand existing partnerships 

The ideal candidates will possess:

10 years of experience in leadership roles with ability to influence and effect change 
High level of financial acumen
Deep understanding of food operations \u2013 Campus setting preferred
Experience with complex sales/retention processes
Ability to project impact of multi-faceted Campus changes
Experience and ability to collaborate and negotiate with clients
Ability to interface with Senior Leadership on both Sodexo and Client side
Experience and ability to collaborate with internal teams and impact results
Sodexo or industry expertise
Deep understanding of industry, client, and consumer pain points
Deep understanding, experience and active participation with Operations and Sales processes
Strong written & verbal communication skills

Compensation: Base Salary $130-185K (depending on experience & geography) Annual Incentive Plan Car Allowance

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor\u2019s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 10 years 
Basic Functional Experience - 7 years
