SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for leading building and implementing collaborative business solutions with assigned customers utilizing our broker partners for the total portfolio of Tyson Foods including Refrigerated Packaged Brands, Frozen Fully Cooked Chicken and Frozen IF Chicken. The position requires knowledge of the frozen refrigerated food industry to provide direction to key buyers with regards to seasonal trends, market updates, and changes in consumer purchase behavior. It also requires strong management and communication skills due to the large number of Broker Partners assisting with this business.

Responsibilities include:

achieving sales volume and financial goals

developing and maintaining strategic customer relationships

providing timely and concise communications both internally and externally

aligning and executing multiple joint growth plans

being a steward of Tyson's Core Values and taking responsibility for professional development.

Other duties include:

achieving desired distribution targets

reporting on achieved sales quotas

developing accurate demand driven forecasts

working with product management and business development teams to develop products and programs to drive customer success.

strategic business planning, forecasting, and deduction resolution

check request processing

meeting key metrics on Accounts Receivables; Accounts Payables and staying within assigned T&E budgets

timely execution of administrative duties

keeping informed on changes in market conditions, competitive activity, and distribution changes

managing and communicating overall service metrics internally and marketplace intelligence is essential to the job.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Experience: 5 plus years selling experience in Frozen Value Added, Shelf Stable, and Refrigerated Products.

Computer Skills: Standard computer skills required with knowledge of Microsoft Office; Tyson business systems knowledge (Trace and Forge) preferred

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with customers as well as with organizational business unit leadership Teams within Tyson Foods.

Travel: 20 plus domestic trips per year.

Location: This position may be located in Chicago, Springdale, or more widely within the designated sales territory
