About the team

Lookout is looking for a talented and experienced U.S. SLED Director, preferably based in Washington, D.C. although other locations will be considered. As our SLED Sales Director, you’ll be reporting to the Vice President, U.S. Public Sector, and you’ll be managing a team of Enterprise Account Managers, Sales Engineers and a Marketing Manager in the U.S. SLED region.

What will you do?

The success of this role will be measured on the following criteria:

Leader of territory and owner of account relationships

Accountable for sales team performance in the territory

Reporting on sales activity and forecast to senior management

Hire, retain, lead and motivate a high performance sales team

Develop and execute strategy for opening and growing accounts & new markets

What’s needed?

As a successful applicant, you will have:

8 years of technology sales experience as an individual contributor, with at least 5 years of sales management experience, ideally in security, with an emphasis on cloud security (SASE) and/or mobile security solutions

Proven track record selling enterprise security solutions to U.S. SLED accounts

Ability to hire, train and lead field sales executives

Strong existing relationships and ability to build new relationships in the territory

Direct interaction with customers, partners, influencers and Lookout’s leadership

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

A self-starter that can thrive in a fast paced environment
