Solutions Engineer Trimble FSM is recruiting for a Solutions Engineer to fill an opportunity remotely in the United States to provide world class technical, functional and business led presales support to the direct and channel sales teams. The Solutions Engineer is technically oriented, yet has the passion and skill to explain complex technical concepts as innovative solutions to FSM prospects and customers. Key Responsibilities:· Thorough understanding of Trimble FSM product and solution offerings including Fleet Management, Work Management, Mobile Applications, Asset Management and Field Service Management.· Work as a key member of the FSM Sales team, performing presales and postsales activities and training for existing and prospective customers and partners.· Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles· Successfully match customer pain points and requirements to proposed solutions· Establish customer relationships and trust throughout and beyond the sales cycle· Provide Professional Product demonstrations/presentations both internal and external, onsite, WebEx or via teleconference· Analyze the customer’s Business Processes, understand Business Objective, document requirements, derive important customer Metrics, document solution and provide ROI Analysis· Adhere to a professional solution selling based model· Ensure that all technical, functional and business based information issued to the customer, whether in presentations, written proposals, documentation or demonstrations is of consistent high quality and accuracy, representing the company appropriately· Pilot Management from conception to implementation· Analysis/Scope, Develop Business case elements, MOU, ROI Analysis and Presentations· Best Practices coverage around business case elements· Weekly Status calls on pilot progress, issues, and business case elements· 50% - 60% Domestic Travel as required Skills & Experience Required:· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or related IT field of study preferred, and/or 4-6 years relevant experience· 5-10 years’ experience in telematics, work force management; field service management or closely related solution set.· Minimum 4 years customer facing pre-sales experience with enterprise sales cycles· The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast paced, problem-solving, environment; be highly motivated and a self-starter with a professional and personable demeanor who thrives in a challenging environment. · Experience selling and implementing large, complex WFM and FSM solutions.· Microsoft Products including Word, Excel and Power Point· Analytical with the ability to paint a future state vision for WFM/FSM customer· GPS Technologies· Dispatch and scheduling experience· Strong written and verbal communication· Strong technical aptitude· Programming/Development experience a plusWe are Trimble!
