POSITION PROFILE

KnollTextiles Sales Representative is responsible for maximizing and growing revenue and profits within his/her assigned geography. The representative will by expand upon opportunities with existing customers, as well as acquire new business. The key responsibility of a Sales Representative is to create a superior, customer sales experience and set the stage for effective follow-up and future product sales. Responsibilities also include:

Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to buy textiles.

Drive sales through product knowledge and workplace knowledge which will enable you to align key business objectives of clients.

Become a trusted resource and develop superior relationships with customer

Successfully manage and overcome customer objections

Maintain an appropriate level of sales activity at all times by conducting a minimum number of sales appointments per week as designated by the Textiles Divisional VP

Monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors’ products, prices and sales

Required Skills

Self-motivated, self-directed with a track record of lead follow-up and sales development at multiple levels within an organization.

Exhibits a work style that is high energy, highly influential and can be an aggressive closer.

Proven track record achieving measurable sales goals as assigned by Regional Leader and willing to accept responsibility for results

Strong interpersonal communication, presentation and negotiation skills

Ability to communicate effectively with customers, associates and managers.

TRAVEL

Up to 50% within assigned territory

Required Experience

Bachelor’s (BA/BS) in Interior Design, Marketing or related discipline preferred

Requires three to five (2-5 ) years sales experience
