Job Summary

The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for helping support the Sales Value Stream.  This indiviudal will work with Information Technology, as well as other Inside Sales and Outside Sales personnel to ensure customer quotes are completed in time frames agreed to by the Inside Sales and Outside Sales team.  This person is responsbile to help lead the continuous improvement of systems used to administrate timely and accurate customer quotations to meet business requirements.

 

Essential Job Functions:

*ensure establishment of a customer friendly mindset amongst facility members including establishing and helping to lead the conitnuous improvement of Quote Tools (i.e., Configurator, SALES FORCE, etc.) and other documented Value Stream Maps and Standardized Work to assure the tools are relevant and adaptable to meet the dynamic nature of our environment *management and development of customer service and sales key process indicators (KPIs) that are linked to the initiative of The Customer Experience *participate in regular Customer Quotation Trancking Update State Up Meetings to ensure dynamic and timely status updates to flag lagging customer quotations and initiate mitigation actions to secure line-of-sight to meeting commitment dates.  Assure timely communications with Outstide Sales on contraints and problems with specific customer quotations. *publish KPI perofrmance metrics to key stakeholders on agreed upon frequency *execute customer quotations to maintain a grasp on the effectiveness of quotation tools *adhere to established company policies, proceures, terms and conditions, and legal matters that affect company wide pucrhasing policies *other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

*BA or BS degree required, with preference to an industrial related field *familiarity with the material handling equipment fabrication industry *demonstrated thought leadership and problem solving skills *experience developing and using negoatiation technicques preferred *strong written communication skills and oral presentation skills *proficiency in ERP, MRP, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook
