Group Coordinator is responsible for booking all groups that are sold by the Sales Managers.  This includes creating group room blocks, contracts, rooming lists, banquet event orders, and managing reservation changes and room assignments.  Group Coordinator is also responsible for updating incoming group reports and communicating pertinent information to the resort where the group is staying.  This position requires great customer service skills as they will be working directly with important group planners. 

Coordinate all aspects of group bookings including deposits, changes, cancellations, room assignments, etc.

Create group room blocks in reservation system 

Create and maintain group contracts, rooming lists, and banquet event orders

Compile weekly and monthly reports using Excel and AS400

Process and track group payments

Communicate group information to the properties

Provides administration support to Group Sales department including following up on requests, correspondence and telephone inquiries.

Handle delivery of Group VIP gifts

Maintain a working knowledge of all properties to include location, amenities, and condo details

Requires high school diploma or equivalency

A minimum two years of experience in hospitality/tourism industry, preferably in Group Sales
