Assist with contractor (repair/remodel) customers with order generation, by providing quotes and product specifications, both in person and over the phone. Handle special orders and advanced pricing.

Major Responsibilities:

Serve assigned Accounts and Contacts by facilitating orders, building relationships, learning customer needs, creating solutions that increase loyalty and sales revenue.

Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel.

Growth will be focused through counter relationship building, ecommerce, R&R permits coordinated by Sales Management, and various other resources. Maximize long – term relationships and expanded services.

Primary channel through ecommerce website and tools focused on leads generation, permit cold calling, new account conversions, expanded product lines, and GM% increases.

Maintain excellent customer service and adhere to “World Class Experience” guidelines.

Support other Account Reps as needed to aid workflow and maintain excellent customer service. Participate in rotation to maintain and provide coverage on location cash and will call counters.

Increase customer profitability by utilizing cross-selling and upselling techniques.

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly pipeline and forecast goals and define objectives that will enable you to meet revenue and GM% targets and budgets determined by Management.

Achieve quota for number of contacts/activity/opportunities with prospective customers.

Required Skills

Minimum education required: High School Diploma or GED.

Confidentiality requirement - Medium

Special skills required:

Ability to operate computer, calculator & cash register.

Knowledge of building supplies, applications, related equipment, and/or construction industry.

Good interpersonal and customer relations skills and excellent oral and written communication skills; frequent telephone communications

Should be familiar with inventory and inventory control.

Must be able to;

Frequently sit, walk, squat, stoop, and bend

Lift 40 pounds from floor level to a standing position

Drive and walk throughout yards, plants and offices.

Required Experience

Minimum experience preferred: 1 year in building material industry with basic knowledge of product and application.
