Entry Level Sales Jobs description
An entry level job may be defined as employment in a firm at the bottom level, which requires ordinary level of education and training and little or no experience. However, an entry level sales job may provide experience in sales, and serve as a stepping stone to higher level management jobs.It is the responsibility of an entry level sales candidate to work under the supervision of the sales manager or supervisor, while learning all the necessary steps of the sales process like liaison with existing and future clients, executing the sales strategy and delivering effective sales ideas. Other duties include assisting in account management, maintaining full product knowledge, researching targeted accounts and building potential customer relationships.
Entry-level sales jobs generally require a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business studies or similar fields, from an accredited institute. A candidate should be self-motivated to learn new skills, be enthusiastic about participating in training programs and should be willing to begin his career at entry level management.
