Sales Representative Jobs

Sales representatives are recruited by companies to market and sell their products. They visit prospects in their respective territories and seek to expand the market of the given company.

Sales representative jobs do not require any formal education and sometimes do not even require relevant experience. Their duties include cold calling, follow-up appointments, maintaining sales reports, and achieving sales targets, among others. The pay for most sales representatives is commission-based; as such, success in these jobs typically requires exceptional sales skills. Computer literacy and bilingual skills are also often quite helpful. Note that for positions like financial sales representative, Series 6 and 65 licenses are required.
