Healthcare Sales Jobs description
Healthcare sales deal with the selling of healthcare products and services like medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, home health services etc to doctors, hospitals, healthcare system executives and clinics. Healthcare sales specialists develop, maintain and grow a designated territory by building profitable business relationships with both new and existing clients.A healthcare sales person is primarily responsible for all activity in client accounts including product and service sale, development of client relationships, handling all customer needs and ensuring client satisfaction. Meeting and exceeding sales targets, arranging presentations and conducting demonstrations and on site visits, and maintaining industry, product and competitor information also falls under the purview of a healthcare sales job. A healthcare sales job specialist may also help develop marketing policy and recommend product line revisions and pricing changes.
The minimum qualification required for a job in healthcare sales is a bachelor’s degree, preferably in science, from an accredited college. Prior similar sales experience is preferred. Effective communication, interpersonal, computer, negotiation and analytical skills are also important. Candidate should be willing to travel and possess knowledge of healthcare industry and trends.
