Process/Sales Engineer

Profile

Under the direction of the Product Director, the Process/Sales Engineer is primarily responsible for designing and selling MTR’s customized systems. Responsibilities include simulating processes, sizing equipment, getting quotes, estimating total job costs and preparing proposals; developing leads, qualifying inquiries; developing PFDs, reviewing P&IDs and control narratives; process optimization. The Process/Sales Engineer will interface with MTR’s customers and vendors, make sales calls as a team with other MTR employees, make presentations to customers, take feedback from customers and make modifications to proposals.

REQUIREMENTS

This position requires a BS in chemical engineering or a related science. Some prior work experience, knowledge of the petrochemical, natural gas and refining industries is a plus.
