The Phone That Epitomizes ''Bling''

Recently, Apple's iPhone dominated the media and consumers' minds because it was the coolest new phone available. Well, ladies and gentlemen, there is a phone out there that drastically surpasses the iPhone in style, excess, quality, and, more than anything else, price. And because you are an individual who desires only the best, this weekend you're going to buy yourself a little piece of telephone history when you purchase Le Million Piece Unique.

Okay, since it’s already in the name, let’s get the price issue out of the way. The phone costs $1,254,100. Now, while the price may seem a little extreme, you must keep in mind that this is no ordinary phone.

GoldVish, the Geneva, Switzerland, organization that produces Le Million Piece Unique, has set itself apart as a personal luxury communications company. It is this belief in the idea of luxury that they apply to everything they do. In fact, the entire company was established with the sole goal of providing luxury cell phones to consumers after it conducted research and discovered that more than 15% of consumers desired more lavish options.

Le Million Piece Unique is handcrafted in Switzerland, a country known for its precision watches and jewelry, and is encased in 150 grams of 18-karat platinum gold. However, what makes this phone extraordinary is that it has more than 100 karats of D-E color and VVS-1 clarity grade diamonds. Conceived by GoldVish’s creative director, Emmanuel Gueit, best recognized for having designed Harry Winston’s Z1 and Z2 watches, it is no wonder that this phone is extravagant, as he has applied the same opulence to the phone’s creation that he did to his previous endeavors.

In addition to being a device of unparalleled beauty, the phone is also scarce. When it was developed, GoldVish intentionally only created three, earning it a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records as not only the most expensive phone in the world but also the most exclusive.

Yet this phone isn’t merely for looks; it is also highly functional. The phone is outfitted with quad-band technology, Bluetooth, 2GB of memory, a digital camera, worldwide FM radio, USB connectivity, EDGE, an MP3 player, and worldwide reception, as well as “the type of after-sales service only a high-end luxury brand can give.”

Of course, for those who cannot find, or afford, Le Million Piece Unique, there are other options available. Additional luxury phones made by GoldVish begin at only $24,000 and are also made with 18-karat gold and diamonds.

Still, no other phone shines as brightly or sparkles as brilliantly as the Piece Unique. In fact, if you try hard enough, you may just hear its sound: bling.
